Kagan is a group of enthousiastic young people who started in 1992 doing a radioshow with the same name. The radio show is aired on Radio Scorpio, a local radio station in Leuven, Belgium. The radioshow focusses on wave gothic electro industrial music and also informs its listeners about news and other info related to these music genres. Artists and labels who are interested in providing Kagan with promo material can contact radio@kagankalender.com.

Kagan members also DJ at parties in Belgium and the Netherlands. For more than 5 years Kagan's main event has been the Kagan Party at the Cuythoek in Leuven. Now the DJs perform as (guest) DJs at other parties. The most active Kagan DJS are DJ Marc and djSPUD.

In 1995 the Kagan Kalender has been introduced in the scene and quickly became very popular. The Kagan Kalender is a wave gothic electro industrial concert & party calendar for Belgium and The Netherlands. In the beginning it was only distributed as a paper newsletter at parties and concerts. Since 1997 the calendar can also be consulted on the internet. Together with the increasing popularity of the internet the Kagan Kalender website has become immensly popular with around 15.000 hits each month. Since 2005 the website has been renewed and now also includes dates in Luxemburg, therefor the Kagan Kalender can truely be called THE wave gothic electro industrial party & concert calendar of the Benelux.
